School Holiday Farm Workshops

Wednesday 4 to Sunday 15 January 2023

Join Homegrown Organics for fun and adventure these school holidays, with unique nature-based farm workshops for children and their families.

Homegrown Organics supplies Mid North Coast families with year-round fresh organic produce from their market garden. They also love helping families experience the delights and realities of nature and country life.

It’s no secret that kids are physically and mentally healthier when they spend time doing stuff in nature. It helps them to think independently, act responsibly, and choose an active and adventurous lifestyle that builds character and resilience. Homegrown Organics on-farm experiences are packed with fun activities that build new skills as we do meaningful things.

This summer Homegrown Organics has 3 unique, nature-based farm workshops on offer for children and families. They are suitable for different ages, and there are options for parents to leave their children or to stay and participate. Discounts are available for purchases of more than one workshop.

“We have loved living here with our 6 kids since 2008, firstly in a camper van in the grove where our campsites are, then in a caravan while we built our house. Our kids have grown up roaming all 273 acres on foot and horseback, learning how to make their own fun, how to make things, how to work, how to grow their own food, and how to be good citizens. Now it is time for us to share the joy of this place with you and your kids.”
