The Macleay Valley Coast is approximately 428 kilometres north of Sydney and 538 kilometres south of Brisbane.
The traditional owners of this area are the Dunghutti Aboriginal people. Extending from the eastern coast to the tablelands in the west, Dunghutti country encompasses Kempsey, Bellbrook, and the towns of the Macleay Valley Coast.
Just 45 minutes drive north of Port Macquarie, the Macleay Valley Coast stretches along the Legendary Pacific Coast, from Crescent Head in the south to Grassy Head in the north. Encapsulating Comara, Bellbrook, Grassy Head, South West Rocks, Hat Head, Crescent Head, Kundabung, Kempsey and everywhere in between.
