Coffs Coast

North Coast NSW Australia

The Coffs Coast area lies within the North Coast region of NSW Australia.

Bounded by the Clarence Valley in the north, the Tasman Sea in the east, Nambucca Valley in the south, and the New England High Country in the west. The Coffs Coast area is almost mid-way between Sydney and Brisbane, along the Legendary Pacific Coast.

The traditional owners of this area are the Gumbaynggirr Aboriginal people, who have occupied this land for thousands of years, forming one of the largest coastal Aboriginal Nations in NSW. Their Nation stretches from the Nambucca River in the south to the Clarence River in the north and to the Great Dividing Range in the west.

The Coffs Coast encompasses the Bellingen Shire and Coffs Harbour areas. Encapsulating Coffs Harbour, Bellingen, Dorrigo, Sawtell, Urunga, Woolgoolga, Coramba and everywhere in between.
