The Barrington Coast area lies within the southern portion of the North Coast region of NSW Australia.
Bounded by Greater Port Macquarie in the north, the Tasman Sea in the east, The Hunter region in the south, and the New England High Country in the west. Barrington Coast is approximately 217 kilometres north of Sydney and 565 kilometres south of Brisbane.
The traditional owners of the area are the Biripi and Worimi Aboriginal people.
The Barrington Coast encompasses the Gloucester, Manning and Great Lakes Regions. Encapsulating Diamond Head, Taree, Forster, Seal Rocks, Hawks Nest, Stroud, Barrington Tops, Gloucester, Elands and everywhere in between.
