The Mid North Coast of NSW lies between the Great Divide and the east coast. Extending north along the Legendary Pacific Coast from the southern most tip of the Barrington Coast up to the northern beaches of the Coffs Coast. It also includes the World Heritage Area of Lord Howe Island, about 600km east of Port Macquarie.
Encapsulating the Great Lakes, Forster, Taree, Wingham, Port Macquarie, South West Rocks, Macksville, Bellingen and Coffs Harbour.
Local Aboriginal nations include Gumbaynggirr, Dunghutti, Birpai and Worimi.
