Sancrox Reserve is a popular spot for families in the Port Macquarie area, set alongside the Hastings River.

Reserve Features: A large grassy open space area with shade trees.

Reserve Facilities: Large undercover shelter with picnic tables and barbecues, picnic tables with shelters, playground, public amenities, waste bins, and off-street parking.

Other Features: Tennis court, sports field and proximity to the Hastings River.


The Playground

The Sancrox Reserve Playground is suitable for ages 2-12 years.

Play Facilities: Ride on grasshoppers, 2 swings, talking tubes, balancing beams and coloured climbing tyres. Plus a 6 metre high climbing structure called the Birds’ Nest, capable of supporting many children of varying ages at the same time.

Fencing: No, all open.

Shade: No shade cover.

Seating: Yes.

Shelter: Yes. Large undercover shelter with picnic tables.

Picnic Facilities: Yes.

Toilets: Yes.

Water: No drinking water.

Parking: Yes, dedicated off-street parking.

Wheelchair Accessible: The reserve is, but the playground is not an all-abilities playground.

Other Features: Hastings River, tennis courts and sports field.

Where is the Reserve?

You can find Sancrox Reserve at the end of Colvin Street, off Rawdon Island Road, Sancrox. There’s plenty of off-street parking.
