Welcome to Rugbytots
Rugbytots Mid North Coast introduces children aged 2 to 7 years to multiple skills of the rugby codes. Rugbytots assists children in learning multiple rugby skills whilst having fun, being active, forming friendships, laughing and learning play based activities.
Rugbytots programs have been designed to develop your child’s physical, psychological and social attributes, as well as gently encouraging rugby specific skills such as running with the ball, finding space, kicking, catching and scoring a try.
All Rugbytots lead coaches hold a current First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Check. All coaches are trained to a very high standard to ensure your children enjoy their time at Rugbytots in a safe and organised environment.
Rugbytots Mid North Coast is a family operated business with dedicated coaches that have strong family values and a passion for children’s health, fitness and happiness. Taking pride in assisting children in learning multiple rugby skills whilst having fun, meeting new young friends, forming friendships, laughing and learning play based activities.
What to Expect
Age 2-3½ (30 minutes)
Age 2-3½ is Rugbytots youngest class, requiring full parent participation and offers a fantastic opportunity to spend quality time with your child whilst they learn new skills, meet new friends and have an exciting introduction to Rugby.
It’s fast-paced fun, it’s colourful, it’s lively and it’s guaranteed to brighten up your day.
Age 3½–5 (45 minutes)
Age 3½–5 Rugbytots classes do not require full parent participation, however cheering and encouragement is essential! Your Rugbytot will be part of a dynamic session that will develop their social and physical skills in a positive environment.
With slightly more focus on Rugby specific skills, your Rugbytot will discover a new world of sporting imagination. Finding space, looking after the ball, scoring tries, running with the ball in two hands and general agility and balance.
Age 5–7 (45 minutes)
Age 5-7 Rugbytots classes really start to prepare you child for life after Rugbytots.
These sessions involve advanced team games and ensure the basic skills of rugby are coached in the right way by maintaining small class numbers.
Focus is on fun and encouragement whilst enhancing self-esteem and confidence.
